Scarlett Wood

My journey to yoga began through dance. After years of training as a contemporary dancer, I started practicing yoga and found a practice that honoured not just the body’s need for movement, but one that invited stillness, breath, and deeper awareness to carry you through daily life.

What started as a physical practice quickly became a love for all aspects of yoga. For me, yoga is about the strength we build, the quiet we cultivate, and the philosophical wisdom that helps us navigate life with more ease and presence.

I completed my 200-hour teacher training in Hatha yoga, learning from an approach that honours the practice’s roots while remaining accessible and adaptable. My teaching reflects this: grounded in tradition, informed by my background in creative movement, and always centered on what serves you.

Beyond the mat, I have a deep respect for nature and animals. I believe our practice extends into how we move through the world with kindness, awareness, and care for all living things.

I bring a calm, gentle energy to my classes and aim is to help people feel better in their bodies and minds. Whether you’re seeking strength, flexibility, stress relief, or simply a moment of peace, I’m here to support your journey.
